Phillip Perl
Clinical research program manager
Phillip is a devoted researcher with extensive experience working in psychedelic-assisted therapy clinical trials. He has served many roles in various psychedelic-assisted therapy clinical settings, and remains passionate about their potential transformative effects in mental health care.
Phillip received his master’s degree in public health from Columbia University, and his bachelor’s in mathematics from The University of Wisconsin. He wrote his master’s thesis using qualitative data from MAPS’ MDMA-assisted therapy trials, and went on to serve as clinical research coordinator on a Psilocybin-Assisted Group Therapy study at UCSF. He then worked for four years as a Clinical Research Associate for Lykos Therapeutics’ Phase 3 trials of MDMA-Assisted Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Phillip is excited to bring this knowledge and expertise to Open Mind Collective, coordinating a Beckley Psytech–sponsored trial of 5-MeO-DMT for Treatment-Resistant Depression.
