Amy Emerson
Advisory Team
Amy Emerson has spent her career moving treatments from research toward approval. After eleven years in clinical development at Chiron and Novartis, she led MAPS’s MDMA-assisted therapy program for PTSD, co-founded its public benefit corporation, and as CEO of what became Lykos oversaw Phase 3 trials and the first New Drug Application for a psychedelic-assisted therapy. She planned for what approval alone would not deliver: therapist training, clinic infrastructure, reimbursement, and state policy. She now works with the Office of Systems Catalyst to prepare health systems for approved psychedelic therapies, and serves on Resilient Pharmaceuticals’ board, advising on its resubmission.
